Capital Combat provides Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training to all individuals. From those wishing to try it for the experience and the training benefits, to the more competitive person with the benefit of adding the full repertoire of standup to ground skills for competition.

Striking and grappling techniques are the common techniques used in MMA. Striking techniques may involve kicks, knees, elbows and punches while grappling techniques involve the use of holds, sweeps, throws and chokes.

The best MMA fighters are trained in all aspects of fighting and are able to fuse the elements together. However, each will usually specialise in one particular aspect of MMA. Sometimes this style is so dominant that it is overwhelming for their opponent.
